It seems I have always been an artist of some sort; designing, painting, constructing, leading; I spent my work years in Toronto as a graphic designer, set designer, art director and commercial artist.
After working many years, I discovered I missed the painting I did as a young student and started weekly art instruction with a group of artists. It was in these classes I discovered my love for thick paint, texture, and painting with fluid emotion.
I call my work “emotional” contemporary painting. There is a little something of my past in each piece I do today; always changing, always designing, always evolving…
