Works of art, in whatever form they may take, are expressions of the artist. What an artist sees and how he captures or depicts what he sees says as much about an individual as anything he might write. Every artist aspires to communicate through his work the emotions that led to its creation; emotions so shared can be significant.

Tom’s passion for photography has resulted in a growing collection of images of the lovely Northumberland Hills (and other travels). He has been a member of Spirit of the Hills Arts Association for many years and provides assistance to fellow Spirit artists by creating visual elements to promote their exhibits. Tom, who retired after a lengthy career managing packaging graphics for Coca-Cola Ltd. in Canada, is currently a member of the Watershed magazine publishing team, where his roles include proofreading and quarterly delivery of the finished product.
