Thalya Fortin
Thalya Fortin is a bilingual multidisciplinary artist and photographer based in Hastings, Ontario. Drawing on her northern upbringing, where access to art was limited, she is committed to creating work that is both community-rooted and accessible. Through her practice, Thalya weaves together storytelling, murals, and nature-inspired workshops that invite children, families, and local audiences to connect with land and imagination. She is the founder of Forest & Farm Nature School and the creative voice behind Wild Fox & Hare, a platform blending art, education, and homestead living. Thalya’s current projects include community mural initiatives, nature-based learning resources, and photography that captures the rhythms of family and place.
