Linda Heidt

A wee bit about me and why I paint……….

I was always interested in drawing, but did not pick up a paint brush until I was semi retired two years ago.

I love the water and the sky, the peacefulness of a sunrise in the morning, a sunset in the evening. I’m certainly not a “realist artist”, but try to capture my interpretation of that moment in time that made me smile, cry, celebrate or just stand back in awe at the beauty and wonder of the artistry of God in creation.

I have not taken art lessons, but am self taught. I watch a lot of tutorials on line and work with Barbra Kuzin at Indian Rocks Beach Art Center while in Florida during the winter months.

I love working with Acrylics and take my original work to a printer in Peterborough to produce Giclee Prints, giving me the freedom to sell originals and prints.

If any of my “memories” capture your eye or heart, or you have one of your own memories you would like to have on canvas, you can reach me at:
