Ken Morden

In 2005 I sold my marketing company in Toronto and along with my wife, Caroline, concentrated on breeding and racing racehorses from our farm on Elizabethville, twenty kilometres north of Port Hope, Ontario.
The farm was sold in 2020 and I pursued a life long ambition to write, specifically novels and short stories.
Writing, to me, is the ideal vocation since it requires an innovative and enquiring mind conjuring up the twists and turns of a story, an awareness of what makes people who they are, and lastly an opportunity to create a completely believable world in the reader’s mind. It is also a vocation where mistakes are easily corrected with the stroke of a key! Thank God for that. Revisions are the writer’s way of life.
To date I have written six books, a few of which are available on Amazon.
My wife and I love the country and currently live on a property on the banks of the Ganaraska River just north of Port Hope, which we share with our dog, Diva, and Caroline’s riding horse, Akeera.
