As a glass artist, my pieces are a reflection of my fascination with the medium and my desire to evoke emotion through glass. I discovered hot glass casting and fusing a few years ago and it now owns my heart. I love to practice the art of creating fun and conversational glass pieces that elevate the everyday. Each piece tells a unique story and a promise of fun.

Background:

I have been exploring different art forms since I was a teenager and I’ve been working exclusively with glass since 2020. I was enthralled by this art form from the moment I learned that glass is neither a true liquid or a true solid but somewhere in between those two states of matter. There is something compelling about moving glass from a “solid” state to “liquid” and back to solid to end in a completely different form. So many things can go wrong at any stage which makes the anticipation every time I open the kiln so much fun.
I am always learning and growing as a glass artist and I can embrace the mistakes as much as the successes in order to learn. In fact glass truly has a mind of its own and reacts in very unexpected ways. This is part of the love story and may I never stop learning.
