Jennifer Anne Burke

After a semester of fine arts at OCAD in 2004, Jennifer Anne Burke has made slow but steady progress in her own little art world. Hosting annual art shows, and finding inspiration road-tripping across the country. Her bright Canadian landscapes recently shifted from acrylics to oils. Some paintings are smooth and dreamy, while others are bold and textured.

Subjects have included Alberta’s Rocky Mountains and desert Hoodoos, the great lakes Ontario and Superior, Georgian Bay’s Killarney, and even Northumberland’s local landscapes. The energy of the earth, and elements, inspire her work.

Throughout her life, Jennifer has dabbled in a variety of arts including writing, drama, music and photography/developing. She not only paints, but loves to play with watercolour, oil pastels, and sketching. View more of her work through the links posted below:
