Jennifer Anne Burke
After a brief attendance at OCAD in 2004, Jennifer Anne Burke has made slow but steady progress in her own little art world. In 2015 a two-day trip to Jasper changed the direction of her painting. Since then she has hosted bi-annual art shows (summer and winter) all focused on bold Canadian Landscapes. Subjects have included the Rocky Mountains, Hoodoos, the great lakes Ontario and Superior, Georgian Bay’s Killarney, and even Northumberland’s local landscapes. In 2019 Jennifer shifted from acrylics to oil painting.
The energy of the earth, and elements, inspire her work.
