Book launch of anthology by 21 members of our Spirit of the Hills Writers’ Group. The anthology is appropriately entitled Hill Spirits. Reception and literary evening at Meet at 66 King in Cobourg beginning at 7:00 pm

Three social events as follows:
- Opening reception 2:00 -4:00 pm for new show at The Colborne Gallery. "Into the Light" is a solo show by Jillian Roos Markowitz. Address and full details are under Members’ News
- Opening reception for Anne Plaxton and The Abstract 10 Group (formerly the Visual Poetry Group). 10th Anniversary Show. 2 – 4 pm. Location: Kawartha Artists’ Gallery & Studio, 420 O’Connell Road, Peterborough. 705.741.2817.
- Jewellery Sale - Trent Hills Grannies for Africa from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The new venue for the sale is the Town Hall, 40 Main St., Warkworth. Also new for this event: Grannies Delectable All-Day Cafe (soup, sandwiches, baguette, cookies, squares, tea and coffee); Pantry Table ( homemade sweet and savoury preserves); White Elephant Table (surprises to be found). All proceeds to the Stephen Lewis Foundation.

One opening reception between 4 – 6 pm for TWO shows: one is at the Starlight restaurant (“Holiday Show” featuring visual artists and photographers); the second is across the street at the Impresario Artisan Market in Cobourg. Show features sculptors, potters, jewelers, artisans, writers, and visual artists.
