Hill Spirits - an anthology by the writers of Northumberland County
Spirit of the Hills is pleased to announce its inaugural anthology with contributions from the Spirit of the Hills Writers' Group.
Hills Spirit will be officially launched on Thursday, October 11, 2012. Location: Meet at 66, 66 King St. East, Cobourg.

The Spirit of the Hills Writers’ Group in association with Blue Denim Press is publishing an anthology of our writers’ work entitled Hill Spirits – a very apt title given our Northumberland location and the name of our association.
Eighteen writers and three visual artists from across the county have contributed.
The official Hill Spirits book launch will take place on Thursday, Oct. 11th at “Meet at 66 King East” from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. Readings at the book launch will feature authors George Boycott, Pat Calder, Linda Hutsell Manning, Leah Murray Jessica Outram, Erika Rummel, and Diane Taylor. A subsequent “road show of readings” will follow:
Wednesday, Oct. 17th at 7:00 p.m: Dreamers Café in Port Hope
Tuesday, Oct. 30th at 7:00 p.m.: Arts Quinte West Gallery in Trenton
Other readings in locations throughout Northumberland County are being scheduled for November.
Members of the public are invited to come to these local events and listen to our talented authors, poets and publishers read from their own work.
There is a $15 entrance fee which includes a free copy of Hill Spirits or any other Blue Denim Press publication so that couples can receive two different books if they wish. No tickets required. Payment, by cash, Visa or Mastercard.
